Taurus Relationships - Partner

Being ruled by Venus, the planet of love, Taurus individuals are charming, good-looking and deeply romantic. Their pursuit of a partner may be more subtle than dynamic, but, since they have a natural magnetism which attracts all comers, they have little incentive to join the hunt.

Taurus’s need for a secure emotional and sexual partnership is of paramount importance in their lives. They are highly sensual, and generous and considerate lovers. Devoted to their physical comforts and aesthetic pleasures, they are more likely to make love on a scented feather bed than a draughty kitchen floor.

Taurus woman does not play games with her partner’s emotions nor attempt to undermine his manhood. What she does is make him feel he is everything a man should be, certainly everything she wants a man to be. However, if she loses respect for her lover or spouse, she is perfectly capable of taking control of the relationship and running it competently on her own terms. It may not fulfil her ideal of the perfect partnership but Taurus woman is very good at making the best of a bad job.

Just as Taurus woman expects her partner to be all man, so Taurus man expects his woman to be totally feminine. However, despite his romantic nature, he makes sure that he has made the down payments on the house before he proposes. And he does not take kindly to a partner who publicly criticises him or disagrees with his attitudes or opinions. With Taurus, what you see is what you get; and both men and women expect to get what they see.
