Pisceans are the Poets of the Zodiac. Ruled by Neptune, the planet of intuition and illusion, you experience life through your senses and emotions. Your acute ability to empathize with others means that you tend to suffer deep anxieties about your friends, loved ones and the universe in general. Your deep compassion can cause you to neglect your own physical and emotional needs.

Pisces, being the last sign in the Great Wheel of the Zodiac, is an amalgam of all the other 11 signs, as well as possessing some unique traits. Typical Pisceans are kind, intuitive, sensitive, sympathetic and perceptive. You are a wonderful friend - to others, if not yourself. You have a profound capacity for loving and being loved but, more than anything, you need to learn to love yourself.

Your ability to absorb other people's emotional and, even physical, pain means that you must have periods of peace and solitude in order to reflect and recharge your drained batteries. It is most important that you make time and space FOR yourself - and to BE yourself.

Your occasional need to escape the rigours and routines of daily life can make you particularly susceptible to alcohol, drugs and nicotine. The fears, cares and anxieties which inhabit your world materialise in the form of stomach problems, headaches and pain and tension in the feet - the area of the body most closely associated with your birth sign. Foot massage and reflexology are perfect forms of relaxation and regeneration for Pisceans. Because the Sun, which rules the health angle of your solar chart, is linked to the heart, you should take special care of your heart by following a careful diet and taking plenty of exercise.

Neptune is also the planet of self-deception and typical Pisceans have a reluctance to face reality when it becomes too harsh, preferring to bury their heads in the sand. This, of course, solves nothing and can, indeed, be detrimental to your general wellbeing. Although you may choose to take the easy route, you are perfectly capable of taking control of situations or enterprises and should make the effort to do so. One of the problems of being born under this most complex sign is that you have a tendency to wait for other people to give you permission to do those things you really want to do. Sometimes Pisceans use their selfless concern for others as an excuse for failing to make the most of their own talents and fulfilling their own potential.

Pisceans are the dreamers of the Zodiac and your lively imagination can conjure up all manner of illnesses and ailments which are quite capable of producing genuine symptoms. You have the ability to turn medical molehills into mountains. Ideally, you should channel your remarkable creative powers towards a more positive goal. More than anything, you need to stop worrying over things you can do nothing about.

Uranus, the planet of rebellion and sudden change, which remains in your birth sign until February 2012, signifies a complete breakdown in your existing patterns of behaviour. You are now in a splendid position to reinvent yourself in any way you wish. This is the ideal time to explore new routes to personal awareness and fulfilment.
